Marmara University Library and Documentation Department, which has a rich collection of manuscripts and Ottoman rare books, opened a binding and restoration workshop by the need to protect the works it owns. The unit aims to complete the conservation and restoration studies of our university's rare collection, to train expert personnel and to have a say in the field as an authority institution.
